On December 7, 2023, the zero-carbon and zero-energy prefabricated wood structure residential building demonstration project of Jiangsu Space-o Technology Group was awarded the "Low-carbon and Space-o-carbon Building Energy Efficiency Quality Label" certificate issued by the Kangju Certification Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development at the 2023 China (Hainan) Green Building International Conference and Passive Low-energy Building Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance Conference.

The acquisition of this certification marks that Space-o Group has made an important breakthrough in zero-carbon and zero-energy prefabricated wooden structure residential buildings. It is an important research result of the combination of production, learning and research between Space-o Group and the Institute of Wood Industry of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, and it also fully demonstrates the professional ability and R&D strength of Space-o Group in the field of green buildings.

Under the global background of green, low-carbon, energy conservation and emission reduction, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission issued the "Carbon Peak Implementation Plan for Urban and Rural Construction", requiring the comprehensive improvement of the level of green and low-carbon buildings. By 2030, the main building of new residential buildings in severe cold and cold areas will meet the energy-saving requirements of 83%, the main building of new residential buildings in hot summer and cold winter, hot summer and warm winter, and mild areas will meet the energy-saving requirements of 75%, and the main building of new public buildings will meet the energy-saving requirements of 78%. Promote the large-scale development of low-carbon buildings, encourage the construction of zero-carbon buildings and near-zero energy buildings; promote green and low-carbon construction, vigorously develop prefabricated buildings, and by 2030, the proportion of prefabricated buildings in new urban buildings will reach 40%.

The indoor temperature in summer can be stabilized at 24 to 26°C, and the indoor temperature in winter is not lower than 20°C, which can achieve at least 50% energy saving effect.
