On August 4, 2023, Jiangsu Guosen Prefabricated Building, a subsidiary of Space-o Group, obtained the CABR Glued Laminated Timber Product Quality Certification Certificate issued by the Certification Center of China Academy of Building Research, becoming one of the few domestic wood structure construction companies to obtain this certification.

The glulam product quality certification was initiated by the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry and the Certification Center of the China Academy of Building Research. It focuses on the certification of glulam product quality and production process quality control. It aims to promote the establishment of my country's glulam product certification system, standardize the production and application of glulam, and promote the healthy development of my country's wood structure industry. It is also one of the important research results of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" key research and development project "Building Components and Accessories Product Quality Certification and Certification Technology System".

In recent years, the domestic glulam industry has developed rapidly, but the quality level is uneven. The validity of the CABR glulam product quality certification certificate is maintained through regular supervision by the Certification Center of the China Academy of Building Research. The quality inspection and testing of glulam products is completed by the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, which has stronger credibility and requires continuous compliance verification, factory assurance capacity supervision and inspection, product consistency supervision and inspection, and product supervision and inspection. The acquisition of this certification is the recognition of the quality of Guosen products by the authoritative organization, which fully reflects the credibility and reliability of Guosen products in the market, and further enhances the company's reputation and competitiveness in the market.

In the development stage of the enterprise, in order to standardize the quality of Guosen's glulam products, make glulam production more standardized and standardized, and better integrate with the international standards, Space-o Group invited the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry to conduct technical training on glulam production and physical and mechanical properties testing for Guosen's internal personnel, and organized Guosen to establish and implement relevant internal quality systems, mainly including the following points:

1. Based on the requirements of the ISO9001-2015 quality system standard, the quality management system operated by the organization.

2. 25 quality manuals and procedure documents have been established; 40 work documents, operation instructions and inspection instructions; 47 system operation related records.

3. The work documents are compiled based on the GB/T26899-2022 structural integrated wood standard and many years of actual production technology experience, with strong practical guidance and good actual operation effect.

The improvement of the internal quality system provides a good foundation for the review and approval of Guosen's certification application. After the certification application was submitted, the Certification Center of China Academy of Building Research conducted a detailed review and understanding of Guosen's raw material control, production quality control, enterprise self-inspection capabilities, and enterprise quality management document control through research and field visits, and inspected and evaluated the enterprise based on the two standards of CABRCC/TD-119:2023 Glued Laminated Wood Certification Scheme and GB/T26899-2022 Structural Integrated Wood.

From June 12 to June 14, 2023, the Certification Center of China Construction Research Institute arranged an audit team to conduct a formal audit of Guosen, covering all aspects of the company's factory quality assurance capabilities, including the relevant documents, records, raw materials and warehouses, workshop equipment, actual production conditions, laboratory resources and on-site witness experiments of Guosen's enterprise quality system operation. The assessment results all met the system operation standard requirements and received unanimous praise from the experts of the Certification Center of China Construction Research Institute, and successfully passed the certification.
