Prefabricated Timber Structure Residential Project in Sydney, Australia

Source:SpaceOTime:2025-02-07

This project is a fully wooden modular house in Sydney, Australia. The overall structure adopts the latest overseas high-assembly system of Space-o World. All components are prefabricated in the factory with millimeter-level precision. Water and electricity pipelines are prefabricated in the wall. The overall assembly rate is over 90%. The entire project took only 45 days from production to delivery.

The modular unit is designed according to the size of the shipping container. The components are packed and transported by accurately calculating the components, and fast packing is achieved through efficient tooling, which greatly reduces the cost of transoceanic transportation.

The on-site construction adopts the "foundation first + module hoisting" mode, and the double-layer main body is assembled within four weeks, which greatly reduces the on-site labor cost. The indoor flexible partitions meet the needs of multi-generational cohabitation, showing the innovative practice of prefabricated wood structure in the field of quality housing.
